THE OGPR Logo

Logos in general should be clean and be visible/readable in small size or large size. This logo was made for a rap publicist the goes by "The OGPR". She had wanted something that was showed that she was the original rap publicist but that was also modern to show that she was relevant. I saw that Chamillionaire was her first client and decided to incorporate something from that era. I started looking at his Album artwork and found this artwork down below.

The lettering of this artwork is in caps and bold with a cut of buildings at the bottom. I had like the caps and bold lettering. I then remembered a hip-hop album cover from my childhood that had the letters cut up with lines and I decided to combine both. I felt that the lettering represented that era. I then decided to give the logo a badge and to throw in some red into the lettering to give the logo a modern touch. And here is the final result.
